Spend thresholds inside a shop, and when your basket clears them
Basket discounts care how much goes into one payment, not who pays. They are the labels most likely to follow you into an agent order.
How a shop threshold is counted
A shop threshold reads 满减: spend past a line in this shop and a fixed amount comes off. Sellers set it up with the marketplace's own promotion tools, and it is applied at checkout when the items from that shop in a single payment pass the line. There is usually nothing to claim. Some shops use tiers, so a bigger basket earns a bigger cut, and some repeat the saving for every multiple of the line.
Because the threshold looks at the basket, not the buyer, it is the label most likely to follow you into an agent purchase. The sort files it under usually carries, with one condition that does all the work: your items from that shop must be paid together. In practice that means ordering them together and saying in your order note that they belong to one payment.
Second piece at half price, and other multi-piece offers
The second common basket label is 第二件半价, second piece at half price. Close relatives are 买二送一 (buy two, get one) and pack prices written as an average per piece. These offers price quantity, so they reach an agent order when the quantity is in the order: two pieces of the listing, bought in one purchase.
Read the offer closely before relying on it. Some apply only to the same option, some to any option in the listing, some to anything in the shop. Taobao's price rules stop sellers printing per-piece averages and multi-piece prices in the main photo, so the real terms are usually in the promotion line under the price or on the detail images. If you want two different colours, check the offer allows it.
Your items, one payment or several
An agent purchaser handles a stream of orders and may buy each of your items as it comes up, rather than all at once. For most purchases that makes no difference. For a shop threshold or a multi-piece offer it decides everything: split across two payments, the same basket may miss the line.
Make it easy. Order the pieces from one shop at the same time, write one line in the note such as "these items are from the same shop, please buy them in one payment for the shop discount", and ask the purchaser to confirm. If any piece is out of stock, ask what happens to the threshold before they buy the rest.
Thresholds that need someone else's items
If your items do not meet a stated shop threshold, first check which items qualify and whether combining them in one payment is allowed. Do not add unwanted goods solely to chase a discount. We have not verified whether CNFans combines customers’ purchases or how any resulting saving would be allocated.
Treat a threshold you cannot reach alone as out of reach. Do not add things you do not want to cross a line; a small saving on an unwanted extra is a loss once international shipping is weighed.
