About the Velvet Rope guide to CNFans Spreadsheet prices
An independent guide, a disclosed way of earning, and a firm line on the goods it will not list.
An independent guide
Velvet Rope is a small, independent guide to one narrow question: which of the discounts printed on Chinese marketplace listings can reach an order placed through a buying agent, with CNFans as the agent in view. It is not run by CNFans, by Taobao, Tmall or Weidian, or by any shop, and none of them has seen or approved these pages.
The guide exists because the lowest-looking figure on a catalog card is so often a price that was printed for someone else. We would rather a reader paid the set price knowingly than paid it by surprise.
Referral links and what they pay
Catalog links on this site carry tracking tags. If you buy after following one, the catalog may pay us a referral fee; it costs you nothing and does not change any price. The button to the agent site carries a tracking tag too. While CNFans shows its maintenance notice, that button opens the agent's home page only.
Catalog and agent links may include referral identifiers. Any future reward depends on the applicable programme; a saved registration field does not establish a current payout or guarantee a benefit. This site does not administer CNFans accounts.
Goods this guide will not list
We do not list, picture or help anyone buy goods that copy another maker's marks, and we do not explain how to get such goods past inspections or customs. Catalog photographs here are cropped to the garment and show no maker's name; shelves where that was not possible are listed as text.
CNFans's own policy on such goods was never captured in any saved copy of the agent site, so we do not describe it. This is our policy, for this site, and it applies to every link we publish.
Sending a correction
For an account or order question, use the contact route in the current official CNFans notice. This independent guide cannot access orders.
We cannot answer questions about individual CNFans orders, accounts or refunds; those go to the agent. We do not take payment to change a page, and we do not publish messages without permission. If you are quoting a Chinese listing, paste the label exactly as it appears, characters and all, so we can match it to the wording we describe.
