App-only and livestream prices, and the screen they were shown on

Some prices exist on one screen only: inside the app, or inside a live room while the stream is on. The purchaser has to be on that screen too.

Prices shown only inside the app

The label 手机专享 means app-only. A listing may show one price in the Taobao or Tmall app and another on the desktop site, and some coupons are pushed only to the app. Platforms use it to nudge shoppers onto the app. Taobao's price rules recognise channel limits by leaving them out of the plain after-coupon figure used for festival checks, which counts only offers without audience or channel restrictions.

Whether an app price reaches your order depends on where the purchaser checks out. Agents differ, and the archived CNFans pages do not say how its purchasers buy. If the app price is the reason you chose the item, the sort sends you to ask: name the label, and ask whether the purchaser can pay through the app.

Livestream prices and live-room coupons

Livestream selling is everywhere on Taobao. A seller or a hired host demonstrates the goods on camera and drops a price, or a coupon, for viewers in the room: 直播间价 (live-room price) and 直播券 (live coupon). Taobao's rules list coupons that can only be claimed in a live room among the offers whose conditions sellers must spell out.

These prices usually last while the stream runs, and sometimes only for the first buyers. Timing and quantity limits are a subject of their own; what matters here is that the price belongs to the room. Someone has to be in it, signed in, at the right moment. A purchaser working through a queue of orders the next day will normally find the set price waiting.

Channel offers on a purchase record

If an app or live price does reach your order, it should show on the marketplace order as a discount line, not as a mystery. The order price is what Taobao's rules call the closing price: the goods amount after discounts, plus shipping and any other charges. When an agent shares an order screenshot or a purchase record, that line is where a channel discount would appear.

The archived CNFans pages do not describe what its purchase records contain, and the site cannot be opened at the moment. Ask for the record if a channel price was part of your decision; it is a reasonable request and a quick one to answer.

Asking about a channel price

Keep the message short and specific. Name the item and option, quote the label, and ask one question the purchaser can answer before buying.

  • App-only: "The listing shows an app-only price 手机专享 for this option. Can it be bought through the app? If not, I accept the set price."
  • Livestream: "I saw a live-room price for this item. I expect it has ended; please buy at the current price unless the room is live."
  • Live coupon: "Is there a live-room coupon you can claim for this order? If not, no problem."

The final clause in each one matters: it tells the purchaser what to do if the answer is no, so your order is not held up waiting for a reply.
