Questions to send the purchaser first, sorted by discount label

Before payment, ask which discount applies to the purchaser’s account and your chosen item. These prompts help you request a clear answer; they do not guarantee that a discount is available.

Messages worth sending before payment

State the discount, the selected option and your fallback if the quoted price is unavailable. Here are the ones worth sending, one per label in the ask and carry lanes. The labels that usually stay behind need no message: new-customer prices, the paid membership, cross-store festival cuts, coins and cashback cards were printed for other accounts.

One line per label, each with a fallback.
LabelMessage to send
券后价 after-coupon priceThe card shows an after-coupon price. Which price will your account meet for this option? If it is the set price, please go ahead.
店铺券 store couponThere is a store coupon on the listing. Will you claim it for this order? If not, buy at the set price.
满减 shop thresholdThese items are from the same shop. Please pay for them together for the shop discount, and tell me if one is out of stock.
第二件半价 second pieceI am ordering two of this item for the second-piece offer. Please buy both in one purchase.
会员价 member priceThe listing shows a shop member price. Will you join the shop for this order? If not, the set price is fine.
手机专享 app-onlyThis option has an app-only price. Can it be bought through the app? If not, buy at the current price.
直播间价 livestreamI saw a live-room price. I expect it has ended; please buy at the current price unless the room is live.

Questions to check before paying

These questions are an editorial checklist based on the archived information, not a record of reader messages.

Can CNFans use my own coupons or coins?

No. Coupons, coins, red packets and memberships sit in your account; the purchaser buys from the agent's account. Taobao's price rules call coins and red packets personal assets.

Why was the catalog card cheaper than my order?

The card usually captured a price computed for one account, often after a coupon or member discount, or for a cheaper option. Match the card to a line on the listing.

Does CNFans pass on festival savings?

The archived pages do not say. Taobao's rules describe the cross-store cut as a direct reduction to one checkout, with no money moving to anyone else; ask the agent how it prices festival purchases.

Is a cashback-for-review card a discount?

No. It is an offer of money for a good review, which Taobao's review rules forbid. Ignore it when judging the price and the shop.

Will the purchaser claim store coupons for me?

That is agent practice and the archived CNFans pages never described it. Ask, and give a fallback.

Can I ask for a new account to get a welcome price?

Please do not. Welcome offers are for real first-time buyers, and farming them with fresh accounts breaks platform terms. This guide does not help with it.

Discount wording you will meet in Chinese

The terms you will see beside a price are short and repetitive, and a few of them carry most of the meaning. This is not a full list of marketplace jargon, only the price words that decide which lane a discount lands in.

Price words on Taobao, Tmall and Weidian listings.

Mistakes that cost a discount

These are situations to check before relying on a displayed discount. They are possible failure points, not documented incidents reported by this site’s readers.

  • Choosing an item for its card price without checking which option the price belongs to.
  • Ordering pieces from one shop at different times, so no single payment reaches the shop threshold.
  • Counting a member price, a welcome price or a coin deduction as part of your own price.
  • Reading an after-coupon figure on a catalog card as the price you will pay.
  • Adding items you do not want just to cross a line, then paying to ship them abroad.
  • Treating a cashback-for-review card as a reason to trust a shop.

When something goes wrong with an order

For an order-specific issue, contact CNFans through a currently verified support route and provide the relevant order record. A seller, carrier or payment provider may have a separate role depending on the problem; this site cannot determine their authority or act for you. We cannot see or change your account. CNFans page

Problems with the goods themselves, such as a wrong colour or a missing piece, are for the agent to raise with the seller, because the agent made the purchase. A discount that did not apply is not a fault unless you were promised it. Keep the listing link, the option and any message where a price was confirmed; that is what helps if you need to ask later.

Need help with what a label means? The sort on the home page and the pages linked in the footer cover each one.

For an order question, use the contact route in the current official CNFans notice. This independent guide has no verified reader-support inbox and cannot access orders.
